We strengthen communities.
Mission
Torus Energy Partners is committed to making a positive impact on local communities, the environment and public infrastructure.

We bring our expertise to Community Energy, both in generation and in storage, modernizing the electric grid and pioneering what's possible.
Our Focus Areas
Sectors
Community Solar enables any landowner with a small plot of land to become their own power generator, providing renewable energy to the local electric grid, and allowing neighbors, businesses and community organizations to purchase renewable energy without installing their own system. These small systems also make the electric grid stronger.
Community Solar
01

Energy storage is a vital piece of the modern electric grid where the complex task of balancing power generation, power consumption and demand response is needed. Li-ion Battery Energy Storage Systems from companies like TESLA are the front-runner, and technologies such as flywheel and pumped-hydro storage are possibilities in the near future.
Energy Storage
02

Occasionally we participate in bespoke energy projects across generation, storage, clean hydrogen, renewable fuels, maritime and electric vehicles for corporate partners and investment funds. We are early-stage and frontier partners.

We Plan, We Build,
We Deliver
End Result
We design and develop projects from scratch, overcoming challenges by partnering with great landowners, best-in-class consultants and investing our own funds through construction. You can count on creative solutions, professionalism and respect in all that we do.
Our Process
An opportunity starts when we connect with a new landowner who's interested in leasing or selling their land to host a project. We start building a long-term relationship based on trust and mutual respect.
Landowner Engagement
01
We engage our technical teams to select the best technology and to design the optimal system size and site plan for the project.
System Design
02
We produce the technical documentation, application and fees required to determine the feasibility and cost to interconnect the project to the electric grid.
Interconnection Studies
03
We work within the local zoning code and engage with municipalities and their Committees to obtain site plan approval and the building permits needed to start construction.
Municipal Permitting
04
We construct the project using best-in-class construction companies, local sub-contractors and locally sourced building materials.
Construction
05
We commission the site and begin the operating phase for the next decades, ensuring the facility runs safely and smoothly at all times.
